A Class A Portland cement concrete curb bears on a scarified and recompacted subgrade per the geotechnical report. A base rock layer lies beneath asphalt concrete paving that abuts the curb with a six-inch typical height. A variable height profile is provided for the curb with a top width of six inches and a half-inch offset at the paving interface. Weepholes are specified on all curbs and curb and gutters where landscaping slopes toward the curb, placed at ten feet on center or at each scoreline.
