A standard vertical concrete curb rests on a compacted subbase with a minimum four-inch layer of Class 2 aggregate base. The curb stands fourteen inches high overall, featuring a six-inch top width with a one-half-inch radius on the top corner and a one-inch setback from the road surface. The base of the curb has a seven-inch width and steps down to a six-inch minimum projection onto the road subgrade. The adjacent road surface abuts the curb with a six-inch depth above the aggregate base layer.
