The bioretention underdrain system rests on existing subgrade covered by washed gravel and a six-inch perforated underdrain pipe. Layers of engineered soil mix, topsoil, and sod complete the upper soil profile, with a twenty-four-inch drain basin positioned per the drainage table extending nine inches above the finished surface. An outlet pipe connects to the drain basin per the drainage table to manage stormwater runoff.
