The wearing course is supported by a four-inch thick concrete slab base. Below the concrete slab, a six-inch thick compacted aggregate base rests on the existing soil subgrade. A detail shows the dome stamp pattern dimensions with 0.45- to 0.47-inch diameter domes, 0.9- to 0.92-inch diameter bases, 0.2-inch height, and typical 2.3- to 2.4-inch spacings.
