An eight-inch cast-in-place cement concrete slab is reinforced with number four rebar at eighteen inches on center each way, with splices lapped twenty-two inches and one and one-quarter inch top clearance. The concrete slab rests on a four-inch crushed surfacing base course. The base course is supported by undisturbed or recompacted subgrade.
