A square cast-in-place concrete column profile contains multiple longitudinal steel reinforcing bars arranged near the perimeter, enclosed by overlapping internal steel ties. The transverse reinforcement includes a perimeter tie and intermediate tie configurations spaced equally across the vertical axis. The profile is dimensioned with two equal spaces between the designated reinforcing bars.
