Drop inlets are protected from sediment runoff using gravel-filled bags typically placed around the inlet perimeter or alternatively enclosed by circular fiber sediment rolls. Arrows indicate typical stormwater flow direction converging toward the drop inlet structure. Two acceptable installation methods are provided for erosion and sediment control at minor inlets.
