A precast concrete parking bumper measuring 8 inches by 8 inches in cross-section and 7 feet in length is detailed with internal and anchoring reinforcement. Two number 3 rebars run longitudinally through the concrete profile, which features angled top chamfers measuring 2 inches by 2 inches. Two 12-inch number 5 rebar spikes are driven through the concrete parking bumper at each end, positioned a minimum of 8 inches from the ends. The assembly is set relative to the edge of concrete or lip of gutter.
