Step one begins by filing the structure connection area to bare shiny metal and cleaning it thoroughly. Step two requires stripping insulation from the wire and attaching the lug to the cable by crimping. Step three involves loading the gun with the brazing pin and ferrule. Step four directs adjusting as necessary and brazing the cable and lug to the pipe. Step five mandates peening the connection with a hammer to test the connection for soundness. Step six concludes by covering the connection and exposed structure surface with an epoxy coating compound per detail nine on sheet CP-seven.
