A cast-in-place concrete curb sits on a minimum 6-inch gravel base course and transitions between asphalt or concrete pavement and finished grade. The curb profile features a 2-inch radius at the top corner, a 4-inch top width, and a total height of 1 foot 6 inches with a 6-inch exposure above the pavement. The gravel base extends 6 inches beyond each side of the 8-inch wide curb base.
