A six-inch outside diameter galvanized steel pipe is filled with concrete and finished with a rounded top, primed, and painted with three coats. The pipe embeds into an eighteen-inch diameter concrete foundation reinforced with four vertical number five bars and three number three bar ties. The foundation sits on a six-inch gravel layer at the bottom. The top of the concrete slopes away from the bollard at a quarter inch per foot.
