A six-inch diameter by six-foot-zero-inch galvanized schedule 40 steel post is embedded thirty inches into a class B concrete footing and extends forty-two inches above finished grade. The top of the steel pipe is filled with concrete and finished with a crown top. A six-inch wide reflective engineer's tape using 3M high-density black pressure-sensitive tape or approved equivalent is applied near the top of the post, which is painted yellow. The concrete footing extends six inches below the bottom of the post and maintains a minimum four-inch clearance around the six-inch diameter post.
