Headed reinforcement bars are positioned between parallel concrete or structural members. The headed studs are typically located with uniform spacing across the assembly. Continuous longitudinal reinforcement bars run along the top and bottom boundaries. Transverse headed bars provide internal shear or anchorage resistance within the section.
