A six-inch concrete paving layer per specifications is placed directly over a twelve-inch minimum untreated base course compacted in accordance with the geotechnical report and project specifications. The base course rests on properly prepared undisturbed earth subgrade soils. All structural fill must achieve a minimum of ninety-five percent maximum dry density determined by AASHTO T-180 methods with loose lift thicknesses not exceeding eight inches.

LIFTS SHOULD BE PLACED PER GEOTECHNICAL RECOMMENDATIONS BUT SHOULD NOT EXCEED 8" IN LOOSE THICKNESS. 3.
