An extruded aluminum storefront sill frame is anchored directly to a concrete curb using one-quarter-inch diameter Hilti KH-EZ concrete anchors set with a two-and-one-half-inch embedment and a one-and-three-quarter-inch minimum edge distance spaced at twenty-four inches on center typical. The assembly includes PH.6 by one-half-inch fasteners, sealant gaskets designated G02 and G03, thermal or structural break components SCF326 and SCF326ST, and base shim plate 04. End dams are installed at two per end, and fastener placement requires two inches from ends. The concrete curb features a minimum height dimension of six inches below the sill connection.
