An eighteen inch wide inflow opening is formed through the concrete curb, flanked by twelve inch minimum transitions on either side. A six inch taper leads runoff into the opening from the paved roadway. A two foot by two foot layer of cobbles is placed at the adjacent bioretention and landscape area behind the curb opening for erosion protection. These erosion protection cobbles consist of two to four inch diameter rock.
