A continuous metal deck extends over an end steel beam with a minimum two-foot extension. A sixteen-gauge edge form and twenty-gauge end closure terminate the deck assembly at the edge. Additional continuous number four reinforcing bars are placed, with the rebar bent one hundred eighty degrees around a transverse number four bar. Additional number four reinforcing bars are spaced at twelve inches on center.
