A flexible expansion joint bridges between a ductile iron pipe or fitting and a PVC pipe, establishing electrical continuity across the assembly. Number eight American Wire Gauge high molecular weight polyethylene bond cables attach to the pipe spigots via pin brazed cable-to-pipe connections.
