Gravel-filled sandbags are stacked tightly in a circular ring around the catch basin curb inlet to serve as an inlet sediment barrier. The area is backfilled with three-quarters of an inch of rock or additional gravel-filled sandbags to secure the perimeter and prevent sediment runoff into the drainage system.
