Gravel bags contain one to two inch diameter rock in pervious burlap or synthetic net bags measuring approximately twenty-four inches long, twelve inches wide, and six inches high. The assembly includes filter fabric placed over the original grade with crushed aggregate greater than three inches and smaller than six inches. A twelve inch minimum subgrade preparation is required unless otherwise specified by a soils engineer.
