An eight-inch thick concrete pavement with fiber reinforcement bears directly on an eighteen-inch aggregate base and a prepared subgrade. The concrete is specified with a minimum twenty-eight day compressive strength of 4,500 psi and a water-cement ratio of 0.42 maximum. Polypropylene fibers are incorporated into the mix at a dosage rate of 5.0 pounds per cubic yard. The finished surface receives a broom finish and a clear water-based silane sealer.
