A pre-sloped six-inch wide Zurn or ACO trench drain is set into a reinforced concrete encasement flush with the surrounding pavement. The trench drain channel has an internal width of four inches and features a lockable heavy-duty trench grate classified as Class C. Reinforcing steel rebar is installed within the concrete encasement as required per the manufacturer's instructions. The concrete encasement extends four inches minimum below the drain body and has variable depth per plan. The top of the drain frame maintains a four-inch minimum clearance from the pavement edge.
