A storm drain cleanout assembly is set within adjacent paving, turf, or gravel. A cast iron frame and cover with the label "DRAIN" cast into its surface sits within a cement concrete collar over a six-inch crushed surfacing base course. An isolation joint separates the collar from adjacent paving, and fiber joint packing is installed around the pipe sleeve. The drain connects to the storm drain piping below via a 45-degree elbow, with pipe material matching the specified storm drain system.
