A structural steel pile end connection assembly comprising a tubular casing, an internal steel core of thickness tsc, and a casing cap at each end. A lug plate connects to the casing and transitions into a gusset plate secured with typical bolts at specified spacings and edge distances. Welds join the components with specified weld sizes designated by DwL and DwLg. Fastener holes for bolts are spaced uniformly along the lug and gusset plates.
