The ductile iron riser assembly features an 8-mil polyethylene encasement and a dielectric insulating joint on building risers only, accompanied by a test station at grade. Cable-to-pipe connections join number 4 American Wire Gauge high molecular weight polyethylene bond cables to the pipe and fitting. A prepackaged magnesium anode connects via number 10 American Wire Gauge white test and drain cables and black anode cables. The stainless steel riser configuration utilizes a 4-inch stainless steel inbuilding riser with a Polyguard RD-6 tape wrap coating, an insulating flange, and a flanged joint or flange adapter above the building slab. Similar test stations, prepackaged magnesium anodes, and number 10 American Wire Gauge THHN cables integrate into the nonmetallic and PVC pipe runs.
