A cast-in-place concrete panel with integral color tactile paving is set next to a concrete flush curb and roadway paving per plan. The tactile paving features a twenty-four-inch width with score lines spaced six inches from the curb transition. An expansion joint separates the tactile paving section from the non-roadway cement concrete placed per standard plan 420. The concrete assemblies bear on a compacted subbase with a stepped profile providing a two-inch thickness transition beneath the curb interface.
