A single-piece stainless steel building riser from Ames or equivalent enters the building underground and sweeps upward to penetrate a concrete slab. The horizontal underground run maintains a minimum clearance of twelve inches above the bottom of the footing and extends at least six feet before connecting to civil utilities per civil plans. The vertical run extends upward past the concrete slab, featuring a flange connection positioned twelve inches above the finished floor.
