An insulating union connects copper pipes carrying domestic water while preventing galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals. The assembly consists of an all-brass body union featuring an internal insulating fitting that provides a dielectric break. Threaded copper pipe ends join directly into the union body and are secured by a threaded ring nut.
