An underground water main feeds into a swing check valve and a non-rising stem gate valve before reaching a ductile iron tee supported by a concrete thrust block. A ductile iron riser pipe extends upward from the tee to finish grade, transitioning to a ductile iron body flange, a six-inch wafer check valve, and a conceptual fire department connection thirty-six inches above grade. A separate utility box extends from the surface down to the underground check valve, maintaining a six-inch clear space on all sides.
