An airfield lighting can base is set adjacent to airfield Portland cement concrete pavement with a recessed cover secured by a bolt. Spacer rings adjust the cover height, bedded over non-shrink grout specified at five thousand pounds per square inch at twenty-eight days minimum. A half-inch joint around the perimeter receives sealant for airfield lighting cans.
