A new utility pipe is supported above another utility pipe using an expanded polystyrene foam pad cut to fit between the conduits. A minimum twelve-inch vertical separation is maintained between the pipes. The ethafoam pad dimensions are sized based on the outside pipe diameter multiplied by the outside pipe diameter and three inches, where the outside diameter refers to the larger pipe.
