This pavement assembly consists of three inches of asphalt concrete wearing course placed over an eight-inch aggregate base course. The base course rests directly upon properly prepared fills, suitable stabilized natural subgrade soils, or structural site grading fill extending to suitable stabilized natural subgrade soils.
