An extruded silicone transition sheet ties the podium curtain wall system to the interior gypsum board finish over framing as necessary. Half-inch silicone expansion joints with backer rod seal the junction between the exterior curtain wall assembly and the interior construction. The interior finish aligns with the exterior framing plane.
