A precast concrete or recycled rubber wheel stop features bottom drainage openings and is secured to the finished surface by three-quarter-inch diameter reinforcing rods installed with a tight fit. The wheel stop incorporates two number three reinforcing rods longitudinally and has an eight-inch minimum base width tapering to four inches at the top with a two-and-a-half-inch overall height. Vertical holes accommodate the three-quarter-inch anchor rods with a half-inch maximum clearance, supplemented by optional one-by-three-inch holes and typical three-eighths-inch tooled edges. The overall length ranges from six feet minimum to seven feet maximum, with anchor rod spacings and edge distances fully dimensioned.
