A six-inch diameter Schedule 40 steel pipe is filled with concrete and topped with a rounded cap. The bollard extends four feet above finish grade and embeds two feet six inches into a fourteen-inch minimum diameter concrete foundation, reaching a total depth of three feet. The exposed steel is primed and finished with two coats of safety yellow paint, with no paint applied below the finish grade.
