A cleanout assembly for utility lines is set within paved or unpaved surfaces. An eight-inch cast-iron frame and cover sits atop a concrete collar, with the frame size increasing for cleanouts larger than four inches. The assembly accommodates a screw-on sewer cap positioned above a five-inch minimum clearance to the pipe riser. The pipe configuration incorporates standard forty-five-degree bends and a standard forty-five-degree wye, with pipe sizing detailed on the project plans. The entire underground utility run is bedded on undisturbed earth or compacted select material, transitioning through a six-inch thick, thirty-two-inch diameter forty-five-psi concrete pad beneath unpaved streets and landscaping areas.
