A GSE equipment pad is cast onto an existing Portland cement concrete pavement (P-501) with a varying slope. The pad is anchored using drilled and epoxied dowels with a five-inch embedment depth. Reinforcement consists of number four bars at twelve inches on center each way at the top and bottom with hook ends, combined with number three verticals at sixteen inches on center each way. The pad stands at a maximum height of twenty-four inches with a two-inch clear cover.
