The Siltsack filter fabric inlet protection assembly suspends within a concrete catch basin to capture sediment runoff during construction. Two one-inch rebar rods thread through the fabric sleeves along the top edges to support the bag across the inlet opening. Two dump straps facilitate removal and emptying of the accumulated sediment. An expansion restraint consisting of one-quarter-inch nylon rope and two flat washers provides structural stability across the bag opening. The insert bag is dimensioned by length, width, and depth to fit specific inlet box geometries.
