A timber wood post supports a filter fabric securely attached to its upstream side to manage runoff and ponding height. The post extends to a maximum height of 36 inches above grade and embeds into the ground with an 18-inch minimum depth. The base of the fabric is buried in a four-inch by six-inch trench filled with compacted backfill.
