The International Symbol of Accessibility pavement marking is laid out on a twelve-inch typical grid aligned with the centerline of the parking space. The symbol is constructed with five-inch wide solid blue paint striping, positioned four feet from the curb line or end of the parking space. Key dimensional callouts include an eighteen-inch radius for the wheelchair wheel, a thirteen-inch inside radius, a ten-inch footrest dimension, and a twenty-five and one-half inch diagonal dimension.
