An underground stormwater storage arch rests on a foundation bed comprising a thirty mil PVC pond liner and four inches of one-half inch minus import compacted to ninety-six percent of modified proctor density per ASTM D-1557. Mirafi 180N geotextile fabric is installed beneath the storage area and required only if angular rock with potential to puncture the liner is present. The vault arch chamber is surrounded by three-quarter inch to two inch clean crushed angular stone up to a depth of sixty inches. A filter fabric layer of Mirafi 180N is placed on top of the gravel storage area beneath granular well-graded soil and aggregate mixtures with less than thirty-five percent fines, compacted in six-inch lifts to ninety-five percent proctor density, and finished with a pavement layer.
