A concrete valley gutter features a central swale with a nine-inch depth and two eighteen-inch side slopes, set over a minimum six-inch rock base. The concrete is reinforced with six by six inch W1.4 by W 1/4 welded wire mesh. Asphalt concrete paving is held with its edge one-eighth inch above the concrete surface.
