The gate latch assembly joins a gate frame to a door frame using a one-half inch diameter by one-and-one-quarter inch steel dowel with a head weld to the frame. A three-eighths inch nylon latch engages with rubber bushings and a one-half inch diameter by one-and-one-half inch grab pin. The nylon latch measures one-and-one-half inches in height and is positioned with a four-and-one-half inch spacing from the grab pin and a two-inch spacing to the edge of the door frame.
