A twelve-inch wide concrete curb features two additional continuous number four reinforcing bars running the length of the thickened curb section. Number four rebars spaced at twelve inches on center reinforce the concrete pad and curb assembly. A structural angle cast into the top corner supports metal grating where shown on plans.
