A drinking fountain drainage dry well is designed for landscape installations. A six-inch diameter PVC pipe with quarter-inch holes spaced at three inches on center is centered within a fourteen-inch diameter excavation. The lower portion of the excavation is half-filled with one-inch crushed stone over a four-foot perforated zone, wrapped entirely in filter fabric. The upper portion is packed with pea gravel and capped with a six-inch thick concrete collar finished flush to grade around a six-inch cleanout. The assembly is restricted to landscape areas only.
