A gusset plate connects a buckling-restrained brace to a steel column and beam intersection. The work point is located at the center of the column and half the actual beam depth. A beam shear tab with bolts connects the beam web to the column flange. Additional stiffener plates are located inside the column web aligned with the beam flanges.
