A concrete thrust block provides horizontal and vertical bearing surfaces against undisturbed soil for pipe fittings. A pipe cross fitting connects multiple pipe runs with mechanical joints. A spool and plug assembly terminates one branch of the cross extending into the concrete thrust block.
