An area drain assembly utilizes an Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) Nyoplast drain basin with a square ductile iron pedestrian grate conforming to ASTM A536 Grade 70-50-05. The minimum 8-inch drain basin features a 6-inch outlet adapter with joint tightness conforming to ASTM D3212 for corrugated high-density polyethylene and SDR 35 PVC. Standard drain basins are equipped with fixed adapter locations at zero and 180 degrees, while custom adapters can be mounted at any angle from zero to 360 degrees per plan.
