This pavement detail consists of a three-inch layer of asphaltic concrete with a one-half-inch mix placed over eight inches of untreated aggregate base course. Below the aggregate base lies a twelve-inch zone of scarified and recompacted non-engineered fill as specified in note four. The sub-base sits directly on compacted fill or subgrade per specification 312000.
