A 2-inch by 2-inch steel post is embedded into a concrete subbase with a minimum 12-inch depth and width. The MUTCD R7-8 reserved parking ADA sign mounts to both sides of the pole, measuring 12 inches wide by 18 inches high with a mounting height of 60 inches above grade. A MUTCD R7-8P van accessible plaque is installed below the main sign only for designated van accessible stalls.
